McDaniel Glenn Redevelopment

The McDaniel Glenn urban redevelopment project consists of a total re-imaging and redevelopment of the McDaniel Glenn Housing Project built in the 1950’s. The project site is just a half-mile south of the Capitol in downtown Atlanta and includes 44 acres with 203 fee-simple units (townhomes and single-family homes), approximately 1,000 Multi-family units, and on the ground floor nearly 20,000 square feet of mixed-use space.

Reeves Contracting was responsible for underground storm water detention structures, demolition and reconstruction of storm systems, water systems, tie to existing active sewer systems, new granite curbing, granite retaining walls, street widening, parking lanes, bicycle lanes, paving, hardscapes, striping, signage, bollards, site furnishings and even weaving new streets where historic streets had been abandoned.
