By self-performing work that many of our competitors must subcontract, we are able to eliminate an additional mark-up, thereby reducing project costs for the Owner. When our forces perform a substantial portion of the work, we can monitor the schedule more accurately and make labor adjustments more rapidly, without going through secondary contracts. This ability often accelerates project completion. Also, through self-performance, we have direct control of the quality of workmanship and the safety of the workplace.
