SELF-PERFORM CAPABILITIES
Our ability to self-perform gives us superior control over cost, schedule, quality and safety. Reeves Contracting typically self-performs anywhere between 0% to 60% of a project if necessary. However, before we make the decision to self-perform any portion of the project, we make sure it is in the best interest of the project from both a cost and schedule standpoint.
Portions of work we may consider self-performing include:
| |
Clearing
Erosion Control
Grading
Sanitary Sewer
Storm Drainage
Water System
Shoring
Vertical Shafts
Tunnels
Demolition
Dewatering |
Soil Remediation
Asbestos Abatement
Contaminated Water Remediation
Irrigation
Masonary Work
Place & Finish Concrete Materials
By-pass Pumping
Well Point Systems

Our ability to self-perform many portions of a project is becoming a greater advantage in today’s market. By self-performing work that many of our competitors must subcontract, we are able to eliminate an additional mark-up, thereby reducing project costs for the Owner. When our forces perform a substantial portion of the work, we can monitor the schedule more accurately and make labor adjustments more rapidly, without going through secondary contracts. This ability often accelerates project completion. Also, through self-performance, we have direct control of the quality of workmanship and the safety of the workplace.
